Gaby is a devout Catholic and, first and foremost, a wife who deeply adores her husband Christian, whose unwavering support allows her to pursue her calling through Fiat Lux. She is also a mother to her sweet, energetic son, Maximilian.

Fiat Lux means “Let there be light,” and it is more than a name — it is Gaby’s motto and the heart behind the way she serves each family.

Gaby believes in meeting every mother with compassion, seeing each woman not simply as a client, but as she would want someone to see herself — with patience, understanding, respect and genuine care. She strives to place herself in each mother’s shoes and walk alongside her through one of the most transformative seasons of her life.

As a nurse, Gaby supports families in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Her nursing experience includes caring for adults in acute medical-surgical settings, as well as providing specialized care for medically complex children with rare diseases. These experiences have shaped her calm presence, careful attention to detail, clinical judgment and deep respect for every family’s unique needs.

As a birth and postpartum doula, lactation consultant, newborn specialist and FertilityCare Practitioner intern with the Creighton Model System, Gaby brings together practical clinical knowledge and compassionate, continuous support. Her goal is to help families feel prepared, informed, confident and deeply cared for throughout their journey.

At Fiat Lux, Gaby believes that preparation is an act of love, knowledge can bring peace, and every mother deserves to feel supported — not only in the moments of birth, but throughout the entire journey into motherhood. Gaby may have many hats, but you can always guarantee to call her a friend.
